Our Staff
- Suzanne Rogers – Manager (Cache Level 3 Diploma) - Sue has been at Ickford Pre-School for 13 years and is Zoe's mum (see below). Suzanne is well loved by all of our Pre-Schoolers and she's always keen to get the glitter out. She is one of our Safeguarding Designated Officers.
- Ally Rogers - Finance Manager - Part of the Ickford Pre-School family since her eldest son joined the setting in 2021, Ally made the leap from parent to staff member and joined the team in 2022. Ally has two young sons who are both former Ickford Pre-Schoolers.
- Ellen Chapman – Deputy Manager (Cache Level 3 Diploma) - Ellen has been with us for 13 years and is our main cook in After School Club. Ellen is often the Pre-Schoolers chief hair stylist, with a big queue of girls and boys! Ellen is also one of our Safeguarding Designated Officers.
- Beth Chapman – Pre-School and Breakfast/After School Club assistant (Early Years Level 3, Child Psychology L3) - Beth joined the team 11 years ago. Beth is a Harry Potter fan and loves sharing books with the children. She's also a keen crochet and knitter. She loves to be at the craft table, making wonderful creations for the children to take home.
- Una Boyles - Pre-School assistant (Level 3) - Una has worked here for 14 years. She four sons ranging from 10 to 19 years old. Nothing fazes Una where noise, mud and mess are concerned. She can often be found dancing with the children to the dulcet tones on Marty Mone!
- Zoe Rogers - (Level 3) - The youngest member of our team, Zoe joined us as an assistant in June 2020 - but, as Suzanne's daughter and a former Pre-Schooler herself, Zoe has been a member of the Pre-School family longer than all of us! Zoe has a young son who will soon be joining us as one of our Pre-Schoolers.
- Sarah Robinson - Pre-School and Breakfast/After School Club Assistant (working towards L3) - Another parent of two former Pre-Schoolers, Sarah joined us in 2021. She loves doing art and craft with the children and updates our Facebook page with all the interesting things we get up to.
- Jackie Snoek - (L2 Childcare) - Jackie is Suzanne's mum and the most long-serving member of the team (originally working in the Village Hall), Jackie returned as a volunteer after retiring from years in Special Education. She helps out when needed and is incredibly popular with staff and children for her enthusiasm and caring nature. Jackie has six grown-up children, twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild!
- Chloe Barratt - Pre-School Assistant - Chloe became part of the Ickford Pre-School family in 2024. She has two young sons, one of whom attends Pre-School currently. Chloe loves setting up sensory play tables for the children and all kinds of messy play in the Pre-School garden.
- All staff have been Paediatric First-Aid and Safeguarding trained.
