"After 2 other pre schools in Surrey, this was the best place that our daughter could have attended. The staff really 'got' my daughter and were really brilliant in supporting her development. Staff were always willing to chat about any problems and I felt she was in a really safe and happy environment."
"R has had 15 months of fast development with you; coming out of her shell, growing tall, learning how to share and make friends and express her emotions. I trust you all and appreciate the care and love you show to all of the children who enter the building."
"You do a wonderful job - Very grateful for you looking after both my babies xx"
"Very caring staff! I could see my son’s confidence grow after every session. Staff plan exciting activities and always have time to talk to you.."
"I would not hesitate in recommending Ickford Pre School to anyone. My son started in January after being at another nursery for a year. Everyday he would cling onto my leg when taking him in throughout that year! From day one at Ickford he has never been unhappy going in. All the staff are very friendly and there is always lots set up for the children to play with. I love the fact they communicate well with us as parents and give the children the structure to the day they need and he loves taking things in from home to show his friends at registration. He is always singing songs and telling me new things he has learnt, a sign of a very happy child. Overall a fab setting! Thank you to Helen and all the staff".
"One area of the pre-school that I am particularly fond of is the fantastic outside space … children can be outside to play as they like whilst fully supervised".
"I was fortunate enough to see the children during their gym session today, and just wanted to tell you that it was a pleasure to watch! It's not often I see them all "in action", without parents coming and going etc, and I have to say it was a joy to watch them all behave so grown up - getting their socks and shoes off and putting them away, lining up and listening to instructions, and then one by one, going around the obstacle course, learning to wait in line, take their turn and learning new skills such as balance etc. I definitely agree that the gym session is another excellent example of "learning through play" that the pre-school fully embraces. Well done, children and staff alike".
